Ripon Cathedral: On foot: take the south-easterly exit from the Market Square down Duck Hill and turn left along Kirkgate. Nearest parking is in Sainsbury's car park which has a footpath to the Cathedral. There is also limited parking in the Market Square. Map

Great Northern Wine Co, Blossomgate, Ripon HG4 2AJ 01765 606767 Exit Ripon Market Place with Town Hall on Left, into Westgate. After a short distance turn R at junction into Blossomgate. Wine Warehouse is 50 yds on R. Parking behind warehouse: Turn R at mini roundabout, then R again.


Helperby Millennium Hall YO61 2NT Brafferton Helperby is mid-way between Boroughbridge and Easingwold. Hall is in the centre of the village, just off the main street. Park in main street. Map 

Holy Trinity Church: HG4 2EY Exit Ripon Market Place via Westgate. Pass Spa Hotel on L, turn first R into Church Lane. Park on road or in adjacent school yard. Map

Kirkby Malzeard Mechanics Institute: in main street, centre of village.   


Markenfield Hall: HG4 3AD On west side of A61 Harrogate-Ripon road 3m from Ripon. Signposted. Map

Old Sleningford, Stable Gallery: Turn West off the A6108 between West Tanfield and North Stainley, signposted Mickley. Ignore the first gate with a lodge and continue towards Mickley for about 1 mile till you come to a long wall on your right and gates on a right-hand corner opposite a cottage. Turn in at the gates and the Gallery is straight ahead of you at the end of the drive. Map

Ripon College: HG4 2DG Pass Spa Hotel on L, fork R at mini-roundabout into Clotherholme Rd. The College is on the left (opposite Ripon Grammar School). Parking off road. Map

Ripon Spa Hotel (Best Western) HG4 2BU Park Street, on B6265 Pateley Bridge & Fountains Abbey Road just past the Spa Baths and Gardens.

St. John's Church, Sharow: Approach Sharow from Ripon along Sharow Lane. Keep straight on at the fork along Dishforth Road and just a few hundred yards further along the church is already clearly visible on the left. Park on road. Map

St. Mary's Church, Nun Monkton YO26 8ER 13m from Ripon, off the A59 York road. Turn opposite petrol station and Sweet Basil Thai Restaurant (01423 330992 Open from 5pm Last orders before 10pm).  


St. Nicholas Church, West Tanfield: on the A6108 Ripon to Masham road. Church is on left just after crossing river. Park in Village Hall car park on right.
