a concentrated celebration of music, arts, architecture and nature, in the glorious setting of Ripon Cathedral and other historic buildings in some of the most beautiful landscape in England.


A dynamic and varied programme awaits to inspire, excite, thrill and amuse: great symphonies with the Orchestra of Opera North and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, comedian Alex Horne's "daft surreal charm", folk with the Kathryn Tickell Band, Tudor drama "The Sixth Wife", renowned cellist Jamie Walton and pianist Daniel Grimwood, the deep sonority of the Rossica Choir of St Petersburg, incredible energy of the Shaolin Kung Fu Masters from China and delicate sounds of Jiang Shu's Chinese Zither, best-selling poet Wendy Cope, fantastical International Purves Puppets, jazz trumpeter Steve Waterman, exotic Black Eagles acrobats and much more!
